Teen Girls. Love Them, Don't Leave Them Alone

The lost girls are they? I mean come on for crying out loud. We all have sat round at some point or another and discussed the new generation of students. We know they are a new breed. They don't think, act, or react the way we did growing up or even the way our parents did growing up. They are exposed to TOO MUCH of anything nowadays. With sex, drugs, material products, make-up, body image, fashion, music, and everything else that influences these girls to define themselves, they are lost. They have very little positive influences and guidance to be lead in the right direction. Why are we giving up on them? Because they are sassy, slick-mouthed, they talk with too much slang, they purposely misspell words when they text, they dress nice, they dye their hair all sorts of flavors. Are we afraid that these girls may run the world? Well, I'm not afraid. I appreciate the individualism these girls have displayed. I also feel moved to be a leader, a guide, a positive influence and a mentor to these girls. I want the best for them, I have a passion for them. Because at one point in my life. I was them.

Someone cared for me, prayed for me, loved me, encouraged me and became a role model to me. Black Teen Girls need BLACK WOMEN to love them, motivate them and lead them. I refuse to give up. I won't leave them alone. I love them, because I love myself. It is my task to see, that I leave a mark on this earth, and my legacy and morale with remain in the lives of the girls I plan to enlighten.
